Hello, I'm Lisa! I am a freelance costume maker working with companies and private clients across Film and TV, Theatre, Education and the Historical sectors.
I have always been a creative soul and had a passion for sewing from an early age. I studied Fashion Design at London College of Fashion and after my graduation went on to work in the wonderful world of costume!
I have had the pleasure and fortune of working with some amazing clients and my work has taken me all around the world. I am now mostly UK based and work from a lovely studio space in Oxfordshire.

I was taught to sew from a young age by my grandmother Elizabeth, who was herself a professional seamstress and teacher. Sewing and dressmaking quickly became my passion and then turned into my full time occupation.
When it came to naming my company I thought it was fitting to name it after the person who had taught me my craft and inspired me to follow my creative spirit, and so my company became 'After Elizabeth'.
I am so, so lucky to be able to do this job, to be able to make make my clients feel beautiful, confident and excited by what they are wearing, it really is the best job satisfaction I have ever had!
