How to Order  Online

I have a range of sample dresses in the DRESSES section. You are able to view them from all angles and there is information on colours and fabrics available.

If you see the dress you want here, that's great! You can order that exact dress, made to your own personal measurements and have it made and shipped straight to you.

If you see something you like but its not quite right, or you have a dress in mind that you would like me to make, or even if you only have a rough idea, I offer a fully bespoke service. Whether you like a design of mine and want to customise it a bit, change a colour, add some sleeves or whether you just want to start from scratch and design your own unique dress I am able to make the dress of your dreams a reality.

The first thing to do is send me an email info@afterelizabeth.com

Let me know which dress you would like to order, or if you would like to have your own dress designed.

If you have chosen a design and do not require any changes I will send you an invoice and let you know how long it will take to make your dress.

I will ask for a set of measurements and provide instructions on how to take them.

I am available at any time by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns.

Buying your dress online

Shopping for your dress online, without being able to try on in person can be a daunting experience. When photographing my designs I try to use a diverse range of models and body types so it is easier to envisage what pieces may look like on you. I am always happy to provide additional images, close up shots, fabric swatches and any other information that will help make your decision easier.

I have worked with bodies of all shapes and sizes and welcome ALL clients whatever your body type, size or style, you will be catered for in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Payment

I currently accept two forms of payment. Bank Transfer and PayPal. Once you are happy with your design and ready to pay I will send you an invoice.

I am happy to offer payment plans to help spread the cost of your dress.

Taking Measurements.

When you place your order I will ask you for a set of measurements and will provide full instructions on how to take them. The measurements you provide need to be accurate as your dress will be made with this information. You can ask a friend to help with taking measurements or go to a local tailor/dressmaker who will be able to do this for a nominal fee.

It is important to take accurate measurements as I cannot accept returns on a dress that is ill-fitting due to errors in the measurements provided. If you have any questions please do get in touch and I am happy to assist. If I receive your measurements and I think there may be errors I will always double check with you first before going ahead.

I work strictly to the measurements you give me, and your dress should fit perfectly, however, due to the nature of remote custom dressmaking you may need a few small alterations once you receive your dress. This happens very rarely but I do like to suggest you allow time and budget for alterations from a local seamstress just in case.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations.

I am happy to accept cancellations within 7 days of placement of order. Please email me stating that you wish to cancel. If payment has been made by BACS I can issue a full refund. If payment is made via PayPal a small admin fee will be incurred.

All of my dresses are made to order, I do not hold stock items and due to the bespoke nature of my work I am unable to accept returns. Every dress I make is made to measure for each individual client and is one of a kind.

This does not affect your statutory rights pertaining to faulty or damaged goods. If your dress is faulty I will endeavour to fix the fault, or offer a refund, whichever is preferred. Please contact me in the first instance to discuss the issue.

Please note that all dresses leaving my studio are photographed and carefully inspected for any defects so I know the condition they will arrive in.

After Elizabeth cannot be held responsible for items damaged in transit so please check your dress upon delivery before it is signed for.

After Elizabeth cannot be held liable for any damage caused to garments by incorrect cleaning or storage. Please ask if you are unsure how to care for your garment.
